INSTALLING DX OnLine
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The diskette(s) supplied are NOT in packed format so
installation is a relatively simple matter.
1. Log on to the Root directory
CD \ <enter>
2. Create DXOL directory
MD \DXOL <enter>
3. Change to DXOL directory
CD \DXOL <enter>
4. Put DX OnLine diskette in diskette drive
5. Load diskette to hard drive
Copy a:*.* <enter> (if copying from A drive)
or
Copy b:*.* <enter> (if copying from B drive)
You may now run DX OnLine:
1. Key in DXOL <enter>
2. Print the documentation
1. Select menu option (P)rint
2. Select option (D)ocumentation
This will explain the steps necessary to configure DX OnLine for your
home QTH and for your specific printer.
Since many of you won't print the documentation before you start playing
with the program, at least do the following:
1. Configure your printer. It is in menu (P)rint
2. Configure for you home QTH. It is in menu (F)ile
DX OnLine is provided as shareware. This allows you to try out a program
and if you like it and continue to use it, you are expected to purchase
a registered copy.
Registration provides you with the latest version of the program and
printed documentation. You are also automatically notified of the
availability of updated versions and of new products.
For you convenience, an option to print a form to register DX OnLine is
included on the (P)rint menu.
